mission

Service

Serve socials: Opportunities for young adults to serve one another and those in the community, than have fellowship afterwards

Service and Missions seminars: Seminars where our speakers equip young adults on how to be on mission locally, than go out and practice it through local mission opportunities such as mall evangelism and serving at soup kitchens

Hands of Comfort: Funerals are often hosted at our church, and in the midst of grief, setup and cleanup for receptions can sometimes be overlooked. Our young adults have the opportunity to serve in a meaningful and practical way by helping during these times.
If you’d like to be added to the serving list for future funeral support opportunities, please email Nabeel so we can reach out when a need arises.

Hands of Hope: We’re excited to launch Hands of Hope, a crochet and knitting ministry through THRIVE Young Adults. Our goal is to bless the Brampton community by creating handmade items like hats, scarves, blankets, mats, and more for those in need.
When/Where: Every other Saturday, 1–3 PM, in the Youth Chapel.
Whether you’re new to crafting or experienced, there’s a place for you to learn, create, and give back. You can also support by donating yarn, hooks, needles, or cleaned milk bags.

Mission

Join in to be part of the THRIVE mission team that serves on mission trips or ongoing outreach ministry called the THRIVE Equip team!

Wasauksing First Nations Missions Trip: The Wasauksing First Nations Mission Trip is a cross-cultural outreach where our team partners with DayStar Native Outreach and the Wasauksing community to share God’s love through service, relationship, and presence.
Each trip includes opportunities to host a Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children, featuring times of worship, Bible lessons, crafts, and games, all designed to build community and point hearts toward Christ.

In addition, our team leads teen outreach sessions, offering space for deeper conversations, mentorship, and faith-based discussions relevant to their stage of life.
Beyond the structured programs, participants of this trip also spend time exploring the beauty of the Wasauksing reserve, connecting with local residents, and engaging in team-building activities that strengthen unity and faith.

Through these experiences, we aim to serve, listen, learn, and grow together, celebrating the richness of the Wasauksing community and the hope we share in Jesus.

Contact thrive@bramalea.org for young adult specific mission opportunities.

ReGroup

Bi weekly Bible studies

Regroup is a bi-weekly Bible study for young adults designed to create space for community, spiritual growth, and deeper study of Scripture.

Current Study: Jesus in the Minor Prophets
This season, we’re journeying through the Minor Prophets, discovering how each book points to Jesus and reveals God’s heart for justice, mercy, and redemption. Through guided study, open discussion, and prayer, participants are invited to see how the story of Christ unfolds across the Old Testament.

Why Join
Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or seeking to grow deeper in your walk with God, Regroup offers a welcoming environment to learn, ask questions, and connect with others who desire to live out their faith.

"May my lips overflow with praise, for you teach me your decrees." Psalm 119:171

"At Overflow, we want to create a space where there are no borders in our worship experience. We seek to be poured into by the spirit, and in turn pour out, and overflow with praise. Together, we gather once a month with a unified purpose: glorifying and praising His Name"
