ROOTED KINS is for anyone in Grades 6-8.
We meet on Fridays from 7:00-9:00pm and can't wait to see you there!

The night is geared towards anyone and everyone. It doesn't matter if you have never heard about Jesus before or if you come from another faith background. Here at ROOTED KINS, you are loved, valued, and important.

We believe that you deserve to have great friends and leaders to walk through life.  At ROOTED KINS we make lasting friendships, have lots of fun, and ask big questions about life and faith. Bring a friend or 5 and get ready to party with a purpose!

SUNDAY
STUDIES

On Sunday Mornings during the first service (9:00am) we host our Grades 6-8 students in the North Wing for intentional, age appropriate study of God's Word and worship.
Boys: Games Room
Girls: Thrive Lounge

If you arrive before 9:00am, join us in your designated room for sign in.
If you arrive between 9:00-9:20am, join us for worship in the main aud. We sit on the balcony, to the left of the tech booth.
If you arrive after 9:20am, join us in your designated room.

We ask that all students register for Sunday Studies online before coming on Sunday.

GROWTH GROUPS

Intentional Community

Growth Groups are for anyone in Grades 6-8 who regularly attend ROOTED KINS and/or Sunday Studies and are looking for deeper Christian community, accountability, and a mentor.

Students gather once a month with an intentional group of up to 10 students in the same grade and of the same gender. Each group has 1-2 consistent leaders who commit to shepherding, praying, and loving their group outside of the church.

We want middle school students to learn that their relationship with God and their Christian friends goes beyond the church building or a set day of the week. We want them to build trust with the students that they will be growing up with and with leaders who will point them to Jesus.

Please note that Growth Groups do have capacities in order to keep the groups intentional. We are always looking for Growth Group house hosts. If you are interested in hosting, please let us know.

Invest in the Next Generation

Do you remember being in middle school and trying to navigate friendships, family, school, and life? Grades 6-8 are such formative years for students and we are so blessed to walk alongside them during this season of their life. We are always in prayer for God to stir up the desire in other believers to invest in middle school students in Jesus' name. We are passionate about teaching truth, challenging students to go deeper, while being relational and fun in the process. If you sense God leading you to get involved, we'd love to connect!

BEDLAM Fall Retreat
We had a great time at the 2025 BEDLAM retreat this past November! We are looking forward to see everything God has in store in and through our Rooted students in the coming year!

Summer Camps
Rooted Camps were the best way to spend the summer!

We ran full-day camps for 3 weeks called Sonsational, a half-day camp for 1 week called KINS CAMP, and a week-long overnight camp called Camp Rokhawah.

BBC Summer Camps aimed to introduce Jesus Christ to students who completed Grades 5–7, both from our church and Brampton’s surrounding communities. We did this by offering accessible, affordable, and adventure-filled ministries tailored to their age groups, both on and off-site.

Students graduating Grade 8 were invited to apply to serve as a Leader in Training and learned a lot about what it means to use our gifts to serve Jesus.
